‘Animal salvatge’ (Wild Animal), an end-of-degree short film nominated for the Gaudí Awards

Today the nominations for the 14th edition of the Gaudí Awards of the Catalan Cinema Academy have been announced and we are very happy to announce that ANIMAL SALVATGE (WILD ANIMAL), a Final Degree short film directed by Maria Besora and produced by the school through Escac Films, has been nominated for Best Short Film.

Animal Salvatge was presented with great success at the D’A Film Festival and at DOCS Barcelona.

We congratulate the entire Animal Salvatge team for this nomination and we wish them the best of luck!

Janira is three years old and does not speak like other children her age. Her language difficulties worry the adults around her but she is reluctant to do what it takes to overcome them. She is happy surrounded by animals, with whom she communicates in a very special way and it seems that she prefers her world to that of humans. Growing up is inevitable and the time is coming to choose between continuing to be wild or adapting to society
