The call for the Ópera Prima Laboratory is open

We open the call to present the candidacies for the new edition of the Ópera Prima Laboratory, ESCAC’s audiovisual project development programme.

The Ópera Prima Laboratory is a program open to new authors and producers in our cinematography so that they can develop their first feature films, series or products in new audiovisual formats, whether documentary or fiction, with the aim of being exploited industrially

We select 7 projects annually and promote their development until a solid proposal is achieved, with narrative and exploitation value, designed for a global market in which different formats, different audiences and different contents have a place. To do this, we include training workshops, professional tutorials, specialized seminars, the production of audiovisual materials (an audiovisual piece will be shot, be it a trailer, teaser or project scene) and various presentations to the industry.
Each project will have an economic endowment of up to 15,000 euros.

This call is open from March 22 to April 30 and is addressed both to ESCAC students and to any external person who is not part of the ESCAC community. The bases and all the information can be consulted on the program page.
