Informative session: Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography
Next Saturday 8 May at 10am, we will offer an online informative session to present the access system to the Bachelor’s Degree in Cinematography for the academic year 2021-2022 and answer all the questions you may have.

The session will take place via ZOOM next Saturday 8 May at 10am. You should register for the event in order to receive the invitation. * This session will be recorded and may be used for communication purposes.
Applicants for the ESCAC Degree in Cinematography must meet the admission requirements for a UB Degree and pass ESCAC’s specific Personal Aptitude Exam (PAP). This exam consists of the following three elements:
- Audiovisual Piece (an audiovisual piece to be done in 24h based on the indications of the call)
- Personal Interview
For the academic year 2021-2022 there will be only one ordinary call for the Personal Aptitude Exam on April 10, 2021. The extraordinary call will be on June 12.
In case of being eligible for a scholarship, the candidate must apply for the call of January 23, 2021 or March 20, 2021.
Bachelor’s Degree in Cinematography
The ESCAC Bachelor’s Degree in Cinematography, 180 ECTS and three courses of duration, offers an official university education (University of Barcelona) adapted to new european standards.
With a methodology based on learning by doing, project work and 900 hours of practice, the student will learn the technique and film narrative to apply it to any audiovisual media.
The full program education consists of a basic formation in the Official Degree (three common years) and a specialized one in the Speciality Master’s Degree (2 years). The nine specialties of the Master are: Production, Direction, Documentary Direction, Cinematography, Art Direction, Screenwriting, Editing, Sound, Digital Production.
