A project from the Master’s Degree in Screenwriting is selected for the TV Series Pitching Forum

The series project Las pequeñas grandes cosas, by Alejandra Sofía Ponce de León Tena, Lúa García Cabado and Andrea Valeria Ramos Vila, alumni from the ESCAC Master’s Degree in Screenwriting, has been selected from over 100 entries to take part in the second edition of the TV Series Pitching Forum, organised by Serializados Fest and GAC (Associated Screenwriters of Catalonia), from 20 to 25 October, 2020.

Las pequeñas grandes cosas is a series project developed as part of last year’s ESCAC Master’s Degree in Screenwriting and presented at the Master’s Final Pitching Session, before a committee of experts made up of professors from the master’s degree and industry professionals.

The students behind the selected projects will receive content development tutoring and will also take part in a joint pitching workshop. Finally, they will pitch their project in front of a judging panel and an audience made up of producers and industry professionals. At the event, which will take place as part of Serielizados Fest, attending professionals will be able to request one-on-ones with the students behind the projects.  In 2019, the judging panels boasted the presence of professionals from TVE, TV3, Mediaset and Atresmedia.

The ESCAC Master’s Degree in Television and Film Screenwriting is a professional and highly practical course, which aims to get students working, from the outset, on a television series and a feature film project.
