A new resolution of the Rector of the University of Barcelona, Joan Gu\u00e0rdia, published today, abolishes the obligation to wear a face mask inside the University. This resolution, based on Royal Decree 286\/2022 of 19 April, is in force as of today.<\/p>\n
The use of the mask will continue to be compulsory in the Medical Services of the University of Barcelona. As for other areas, a series of recommendations have been established for the entire university community. The most basic ones are to maintain the maximum possible ventilation of the spaces and the usual hygiene measures.<\/p>\n
At the same time, members of the university community who, according to the health system, are vulnerable to COVID-19, and also COVID-19 positive people with mild symptoms that do not require sick leave or personal leave, are asked to continue using the mask.<\/p>\n
Finally, it is also recommended to use the mask in those face-to-face or group activities where ventilation conditions and minimum safety distance are not guaranteed, and in enclosed spaces such as lifts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
