The 25th edition of the Festival de M\u00e1laga ended on Saturday and we are very happy with the list of winners as two short films from graduates have won a total of 4 awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

LA PERRERA<\/strong>, a Final Degree short film directed by Emilio L\u00f3pez Azuaga and produced by Escac Films<\/strong>, which competed in the Official Short Film Section, has won the JURY’S SPECIAL MENTION<\/strong> for the actors Emilio Pacheco and Jaime Crespo.<\/p>\n

Synopsis<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ale, an 18-year-old boy with no ambition for the future, spends his days lost among alcohol, delinquency and drugs. Due to his turbulent relationship with his mother, he lives practically alone. The only positive reinforcement in his life is his Bull Terrier, Sasha. One night, Ale goes out for another day of escapism, leaving his dog alone at home.<\/p>\n

HARTA,<\/strong> a short film directed by graduate Julia de Paz,<\/strong> has won the SILVER BIZNAGA AUDIENCE AWARD<\/strong>, BEST FEMALE PERFORMANCE<\/strong> to Anna Caponnetto and BEST MALE PERFORMANCE<\/strong> to Juli\u00e1n Villagr\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

The short film is written with Nuria Dunj\u00f3<\/strong> and edited by Oriol Mil\u00e1n<\/strong>, all graduates, and has practically the same team as that of AMA<\/strong>, the film with which they were at the Festival last year, winning the Silver Biznaga for Best Actress<\/strong> for Tamara Casellas.<\/p>\n
