After its screening at the<strong> Bcn Film Fest<\/strong> and the <strong>Malaga Film Festival<\/strong>, where it won the <strong>Movistar award for best film<\/strong> and the <strong>silver biznaga for best actress, Aina Clotet<\/strong>, the film will be in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemestexas.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Texas Cinemas<\/a><\/strong> from May 24th.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La filla d&#8217;alg\u00fa<\/strong> has been an opportunity for the students of the different specialities of the 4th year of the ESCAC degree. A total of <strong>11 directors, 17 scriptwriters, 6 directors<\/strong> and <strong>production managers, 10 directors of cinematography and 10 art directors, 9 editors, 7 sound engineers<\/strong>, have been involved in this innovative project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Synopsis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Eli, 30 years old, lawyer, pregnant, upper class. On the very day she is about to attend the oral hearing of a media trial that she has been preparing for some time with her father, a well-known lawyer in Barcelona, he disappears. Her search will lead Eli to discover a reality that will turn her family and emotional stability upside down.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To accompany the cinema premiere of <strong>La filla d&#8217;alg\u00fa<\/strong>, Los Cines Texas and the ESCAC have organised a cycle of films <strong>directed by ESCAC graduates<\/strong>. Thus, the following films will be screened: <strong>Gente que viene y bah<\/strong> (by Patricia Font), <strong>Brava<\/strong> (by Roser Aguilar), <strong>Les dist\u00e0ncies<\/strong> (by Elena Trap\u00e9), <strong>Tots volem el millor per a ella<\/strong> (by Mar Coll), <strong>Mi querida Cofrad\u00eda<\/strong> (by Marta D\u00edaz de Lope D\u00edaz), <strong>Mar\u00eda y los dem\u00e1s<\/strong> (by Nely Reguera), <strong>Salvaci\u00f3n<\/strong> (by Denise Castro) and <strong>Family Tour<\/strong> (by Liliana Torres).<\/p>\n<p>The screenings of <strong>La filla d&#8217;alg\u00fa<\/strong> and the films directed by ESCAC graduates will be accompanied by presentations by members of their technical teams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ESCAC and ESCAC FILMS are pleased to announce the cinema premiere of La filla d&#8217;alg\u00fa, the feature film made by 4th year ESCAC students.
