{"id":41906,"date":"2019-04-08T11:25:37","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T11:25:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escac.com\/?p=41906"},"modified":"2022-11-02T13:22:27","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T13:22:27","slug":"escac-talent-fills-the-new-edition-of-da-film-fest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/escac.com\/en\/noticias\/escac-talent-fills-the-new-edition-of-da-film-fest\/","title":{"rendered":"ESCAC talent fills the new edition of D&#8217;A Film Fest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new edition of the <strong>D&#8217;A Film Festival<\/strong>, to be held in Barcelona from 25 April to 5 May, is packed with ESCAC talent in all its sections.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Talents <\/strong>section, the festival&#8217;s competitive section with films by directors with a maximum of two feature films in their filmography, <em><strong>Ojos negros<\/strong><\/em> will be presented, with graduates <strong>Andr\u00e9s Mellinas<\/strong> as executive producer and <strong>Anna Moragriega<\/strong> as production manager, <strong>V\u00edctor Xavier Monz\u00f3<\/strong> as editor and <strong>Eloy Rodr\u00edguez de la Rosa <\/strong>and <strong>Roger Navarro<\/strong> as sound designers. The film won the <strong>Silver Biznaga for Best Spanish Film from ZonaZine<\/strong> at the last <strong>Malaga Film Festival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Transitions<\/strong> section, which showcases some of the best films of the moment, with titles that have aroused the curiosity and interest of critics and cinephiles around the world, you can see <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/actualidad\/dominga-sotomayor-vuelve-a-triunfar-con-tarde-para-morir-joven\/\"><em><strong>Tarde para morir joven<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, by Master in Directing alumni <strong>Dominga Sotomayor<\/strong>. The film won the <strong>Golden Leopard for Best Director<\/strong> at the <strong>Locarno Film Festival<\/strong>, as well as <strong>Best Director<\/strong> and <strong>Best Cinematography<\/strong> at the <strong>Gij\u00f3n Film Festival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Collective Impulse<\/strong>, a section dedicated to productions far from industry standards and directors who produce their films more independently, two short films produced by the school, <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/adalamadrina\/\"><em><strong>Adalamadrina<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>by<strong> Carlota Oms<\/strong> and <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/te-busco-en-todos\/\"><em><strong>Te busco en todos<\/strong><\/em><\/a> by <strong>Celia Giraldo<\/strong>, will take part. In addition, the feature film <strong><em>Ari y Yonay pasan el rato<\/em><\/strong>, by graduate <strong>Ariadna Onofri<\/strong>; and the short films <em><strong>Corre brilla luz luz<\/strong><\/em> by graduate <strong>Miguel Angel Blanca<\/strong>, a regular at the festival and in this section, and <em><strong>Grbavica<\/strong><\/em>, by graduate <strong>Manel Raga<\/strong>, will also be screened.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new edition of the D&#8217;A Film Festival, to be held in Barcelona from 25 April to 5 May, is packed with ESCAC talent in all its sections.
