Audience and press have coincided in valuing the risky nature of the proposal and the immense performance of its protagonist, <strong>Aina Clotet<\/strong>. The actress, the absolute star of the film, won the <strong>Silver Biznaga for Best Actress<\/strong> \u00abfor her ability to maintain tension and emotional intensity through her magnetic performance\u00bb. The actress declared at a press conference that &#8220;this is a collaborative film that I will never forget&#8221;. Its eleven directors, <strong>Marcel Alc\u00e1ntara, J\u00falia De Paz Solvas, Sara Fantova, Guillem Gallego, Celia Giraldo, Alejandro Mar\u00edn, Valentin Moulias, Gerard Vidal, Pol Vidal, Enric Vilageliu <\/strong>and <strong>Carlos Villafaina<\/strong>, explain the creative process and the experience of shooting a collective feature film.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The ESCAC Films&#8217; short films awarded in M\u00e1laga<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the short film section, <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/benidorm-2017\/\"><em><strong>Benidorm 2017<\/strong> \u00a0<\/em><\/a>by graduate <strong>Claudia Costrafreda<\/strong> has won the <strong>Best Fiction Short Film Award of the Official Selection <\/strong>and the <strong>Best Actress Award <\/strong>to <strong>Yolanda Ramos<\/strong>. In the Official <strong>Short Film <\/strong>Selection <strong>Malaga<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/nacho-no-conduce\/\"><em><strong>Nacho no conduce<\/strong><\/em><\/a> by graduate <strong>Alejandro Mar\u00edn<\/strong> has won the <strong>Best Fiction Short Film Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Long presence of ESCAC talent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ojos Negros<\/strong><\/em>, with graduates <strong>Andr\u00e9s Mellinas<\/strong> as executive producer and<strong> Anna Moragriega<\/strong> as production manager, <strong>V\u00edctor Xavier Monz\u00f3<\/strong> as editor and <strong>Eloy Rodr\u00edguez de la Rosa<\/strong> and <strong>Roger Navarro<\/strong> as sound designers, has won the <strong>Silver Biznaga for Best Spanish Film at ZonaZine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Actor Quim Guti\u00e9rrez was awarded the <strong>Silver Biznaga for Best Supporting Actor <\/strong>for <em><strong>Litus<\/strong><\/em>, by graduate <strong>Dani de la Orden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the short film section, <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/sin-pausa\/\"><strong>Sin Pausa<\/strong><\/a> by graduate <strong>Jos\u00e9 Cach\u00f3n<\/strong> (produced by Escac Films), <em><strong>What is love<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Paco Caballero<\/strong> and <em><strong>Grbavica<\/strong> <\/em>by <strong>Manel Raga<\/strong>, both students of the <strong>Master&#8217;s Degree in Directing<\/strong>, could be seen in the <strong>Official Selection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing in the ZonaZine section was <strong><em>El incre\u00edble finde menguante,<\/em><\/strong> the debut feature by Master in Filmmaking alumni <strong>Jon Mikel Caballero<\/strong>. Graduate <strong>T\u00e0nia Fonseca<\/strong> is responsible for the cinematography of the film.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESCAC and the last editions of the Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the previous edition of the Malaga festival, <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/la-ultima-virgen\/\"><em><strong>La \u00daltima Virgen<\/strong><\/em><\/a> by <strong>B\u00e1rbara Farr\u00e9<\/strong> won the <strong>Award for Best Fiction Short Film in the Official Selection<\/strong>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/mi-querida-cofradia\/\"><em><strong>Mi Querida Cofrad\u00eda<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, the film by graduate <strong>Marta D\u00edaz de Lope D\u00edaz<\/strong> from the <strong>ESCAC Opera Prima Programme<\/strong>, won the <strong>Audience Award in the Official Selection<\/strong> and the<strong> Award for Best Supporting Actress<\/strong>. Two years ago, another film from the Opera Prima Programme, <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/blue-rai\/\">Blue Rai<\/a><\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Pedro B<\/strong>. Three years ago, <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/films\/lina\/\"><em><strong>Lina<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, by graduate <strong>Nur Casadevall<\/strong>, won the <strong>Best Director Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As far as ESCAC talent is concerned, <strong><em>Las Distancias<\/em><\/strong> by graduate Elena Trap\u00e9 won the <strong>Golden Biznaga for Best Film <\/strong>and <strong>the Best Director Award<\/strong> at the last edition.
