The winners will be announced at the gala to be held on 27 January.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 36 productions are competing in 22 categories, including <strong>16 productions with ESCAC talent<\/strong>, with a total of <strong>23 nominations<\/strong> in 12 different categories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lluis Rivera<\/strong> is the graduate with the most nominations, with three for effects for <em><strong>Durante la tormenta<\/strong><\/em>, <em><strong>Superl\u00f3pez<\/strong> <\/em>and <strong><em>La sombra de la ley<\/em><\/strong>; followed by <strong>Elena Trap\u00e9<\/strong> with two (direction and screenplay for <em><strong>Les dist\u00e0ncies<\/strong><\/em>), <strong>Oriol Tarrag\u00f3<\/strong>, also with two, for the sound of <em><strong>Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Superl\u00f3pez<\/strong><\/em>; and <strong>Ventura Durall<\/strong> with the nominations for Best Short Film for <strong><em>Primer estrat<\/em><\/strong> and Best Film for <strong><em>Yo la busco<\/em><\/strong> (as executive producer).<\/p>\n<p>Best film:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Jean Fran\u00e7ois i el sentit de la vida<\/strong><\/em>, with <strong>Sergi Portabella<\/strong> as director, <strong>Jaume Ripoll<\/strong> as executive producer, <strong>Bet Rourich<\/strong> as director of cinematography, <strong>Anna Pujol<\/strong> as art director, <strong>Aina Calleja<\/strong> as editor, <strong>Jordi Ribas<\/strong> in sound and<strong>\u00a0Pol Guamis<\/strong> as production manager.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Les dist\u00e0ncies<\/strong><\/em>, with <strong>Elena Trap\u00e9<\/strong> directing, <strong>Miguel Iba\u00f1ez Monroy<\/strong> in script,<strong> Liana Artigal<\/strong> in editing, <strong>Juli\u00e1n Elizalde<\/strong> in cinematography and <strong>Jordi Rossinyol Colomer<\/strong> in sound.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Yo la busco,<\/strong><\/em> with <strong>Ventura Durall<\/strong> as executive producer, <strong>Carlos Rigo<\/strong> as director of cinematography and <strong>Oriol Bonals<\/strong> in sound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Best non-Catalan language film:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Viaje al cuarto de una madre<\/strong><\/em>, with Master in Production alumni <strong>Mar Medir<\/strong> as executive producer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Best direction:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Elena Trap\u00e9<\/strong> for <strong><em>Les dist\u00e0ncies<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Best screenplay:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Elena Trap\u00e9<\/strong> and <strong>Miguel Iba\u00f1ez Monroy<\/strong> for <strong><em>Les dist\u00e0ncies.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Best Short Film:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>La \u00faltima virgen<\/strong><\/em>, by <strong>B\u00e1rbara Farr\u00e9<\/strong> and with a technical team made up of graduates from the school. Final year short film produced by Escac Films.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Silencio por favor<\/strong><\/em>, by <strong>Carlos Villafaina<\/strong>.
