{"id":42034,"date":"2018-10-19T11:23:47","date_gmt":"2018-10-19T11:23:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escac.com\/?p=42034"},"modified":"2022-11-03T14:10:54","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T14:10:54","slug":"escac-at-martin-scorseses-meeting-with-young-filmmakers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/escac.com\/en\/noticias\/escac-at-martin-scorseses-meeting-with-young-filmmakers\/","title":{"rendered":"ESCAC at Martin Scorsese&#8217;s meeting with young filmmakers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The students participating in this year&#8217;s edition of ESCAC&#8217;s <strong>Opera Prima Programme<\/strong> (directors, screenwriters and producers) have travelled to Oviedo to attend the meeting of <strong>Martin Scorsese, 2018 Princess of Asturias Award<\/strong>, with young filmmakers.<\/p>\n<p>The old F\u00e1brica de Armas de La Vega has become the <strong>Scorsese Factory<\/strong> to host more than 30 cultural events to pay tribute to the director, including a <strong>meeting with young filmmakers<\/strong> from different film schools in the country on 18 October, organised by the <strong>Princess of Asturias Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event began with the screening of <em>El origen del cinemat\u00f3grafo<\/em>, followed by a meeting with the director moderated by <strong>Rodrigo Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>, in which his career, his relationship with the industry and the more technical and narrative aspects of his work were discussed in depth.
