{"id":42040,"date":"2018-10-08T13:34:49","date_gmt":"2018-10-08T13:34:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escac.com\/?p=42040"},"modified":"2022-11-03T14:17:57","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T14:17:57","slug":"seven-short-films-by-escac-films-at-the-seminci","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/escac.com\/en\/noticias\/seven-short-films-by-escac-films-at-the-seminci\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven short films by ESCAC Films at the SEMINCI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three end-of-degree short films, produced by ESCAC Films, will be presented at the 63rd edition of the<strong> Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid<\/strong> (Valladolid International Film Week).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>official section<\/strong> will present <em><strong>No me despert\u00e9is<\/strong><\/em>, directed by <strong>Sara Fantova<\/strong>, based on a personal experience of the director during her adolescence in Bilbao, in 2009. The short film is the only Spanish short film in the official section.<br \/>\nJone is a teenager in the 4th year of Secundary School. Her high school has a vindictive and pro-Basque atmosphere. One day, her father takes up a political post in the Basque Government, so she will have to wear an escort and give up the life she had been leading until then.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Spanish short film night<\/strong> will feature <em><strong>Gusanos de seda<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Carlos Villafaina<\/strong> and <em><strong>Tahrib<\/strong> <\/em>by <strong>Gerard Vidal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the space that the festival dedicates every year to film schools, four short films by Escac Films will be screened this year: <em><strong>Adalamadrina<\/strong> <\/em>by Carlota Oms; <em><strong>Nacho no conduce<\/strong><\/em> by Alejandro Mar\u00edn; <em><strong>Sin Pausa<\/strong><\/em> by Jos\u00e9 Cach\u00f3n and <strong><em>Te busco en todos<\/em><\/strong> by Celia Giraldo.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> Spanish Cinema<\/strong> section will host the screening of the feature film <em><strong>Mi querida cofrad\u00eda<\/strong><\/em>, the Opera Prima by Marta D\u00edaz de Lope D\u00edaz, winner of two awards at the last edition of the Malaga Festival.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the graduate <strong>Juan Antonio Bayona<\/strong>, who presented his short film <em>Mis vacaciones<\/em> (1999) at the 52nd edition of the festival, will receive this year&#8217;s <strong>Golden Spike of Honour<\/strong> together with Iciar Bollain, the actor Eduard Fern\u00e1ndez and the TVE programme &#8216;Versi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola&#8217;.
