{"id":42083,"date":"2018-06-12T12:15:42","date_gmt":"2018-06-12T12:15:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escac.com\/?p=42083"},"modified":"2022-11-03T15:17:48","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T15:17:48","slug":"three-graduates-present-their-latest-works-at-the-atlantida-film-fest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/escac.com\/en\/noticias\/three-graduates-present-their-latest-works-at-the-atlantida-film-fest\/","title":{"rendered":"Three graduates present their latest works at the Atl\u00e1ntida Film Fest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmin.es\/atlantida\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atl\u00e1ntida Film Fest<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>FILMIN&#8217;s<\/strong> festival, will host in its eighth edition the screening of the latest works of three of the school&#8217;s graduates.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Desaparecer<\/strong><\/em>, a film developed and produced in <strong>ESCAC&#8217;s Opera Prima Programme<\/strong>, narrates the life of Zurdo, a thirty-something man lost in the world, who discovers that he is beginning to disappear. A film about missed opportunities, broken dreams and the frustration of a generation that no one expected. Directed by graduate <strong>Josecho de Linares<\/strong> and with a technical team full of graduates, it was presented in the ZonaZine section of the last Malaga Festival. Desaparecer can be seen on <strong>Monday 25 June at 5pm at Es Baluard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Quiero lo eterno<\/strong><\/em>, about a group of teenage outsiders who embark on a journey to find themselves in another reality. The world is uninhabited and they destroy everything they find along the way. The new film by <strong>Miguel Angel Blanca<\/strong> (<em>You lost memories, Despr\u00e9s de la generaci\u00f3 feli\u00e7, Un lloc on caure mort<\/em>) was presented at the DA Film Fest. <em>Quiero lo eterno<\/em> can be seen on Wednesday, <strong>June 27th at 18.45h in Es Baluard<\/strong> and will be attended by the director.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Jean Fran\u00e7ois y el sentido de la vida<\/strong><\/em>, tells the story of Jean Fran\u00e7ois, a boy who one day discovers existentialism and decides to embark on an adventure to Paris to meet his idol, Albert Camus. Directed by graduate <strong>Sergi Portabella<\/strong> and produced, among others, by graduate <strong>Jaume Ripoll<\/strong>, it was also presented at the DA Film Fest. <em>Jean Fran\u00e7ois y el sentido de la vida<\/em> will be screened on <strong>Friday 29 June at 18.45 at Es Baluard<\/strong> and will feature special guests.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the festival is also incorporating the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/escacold\/actualidad\/cine-base-la-nueva-apuesta-del-atlantida-film-fest\/\">ATLANTIDA CINE BASE<\/a><\/strong> space with the aim of finding ways to introduce audiovisuals into the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by <strong>ESCAC graduate and Filmin co-founder Jaume Ripoll<\/strong>, the festival will be held this year in Palma from 25 June to 1 July and at Filmin from 25 June to 25 July.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Atl\u00e1ntida Film Fest, FILMIN&#8217;s festival, will host in its eighth edition the screening of the latest works of three of the school&#8217;s graduates.
