The jury highlighted the documentary &#8220;for its dialogue between fantastic cinema and documentary, conjuring ghosts and capturing life forms in danger of extinction&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><em>Trinta Lumes<\/em> was presented at the Berlinale &#8211; Panorama and was also shown at the Malaga Festival &#8211; Zonazine.<\/p>\n<p>In this edition of the D&#8217;A Film Festival, a total of <strong>nine ESCAC alumni<\/strong> presented their latest works. <em><strong>Ana de d\u00eda<\/strong><\/em>, the Opera Prima by Master in Directing alumni <strong>Andrea Jaurrieta<\/strong>, was the closing film of the festival. In the <strong>Talents<\/strong> section, in addition to <em>Trinta Lumes<\/em>, <em><strong>Jean-Fran\u00e7ois i el sentit de la vida<\/strong><\/em>, directed by graduate <strong>Sergi Portabella<\/strong> and featuring a team mostly formed at the school, was also presented. <em><strong>I Hate New York<\/strong><\/em> (a documentary produced by <strong>J.A. Bayona<\/strong>) and <em><strong>Matar al padre<\/strong><\/em> (a series by <strong>Mar Coll<\/strong>) were shown in <strong>Special Sessions and Movistar+<\/strong> <strong>Sessions<\/strong> respectively. Within <strong>Impulso Colectivo<\/strong>, a section dedicated to the most independent new Spanish cinema, <em><strong>Quiero lo eterno<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Miguel Angel Blanca<\/strong> and <em><strong>Trinta Lumes<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Diana Toucedo<\/strong> were shown. These two directors also participated in the <strong>Meet the Directors by Moritz<\/strong> section. In the short film section, <strong><em>La in\u00fatil<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>Bel\u00e9n Funes<\/strong>, <strong><em>Boh\u00e8mia<\/em> <\/strong>by <strong>Anna Petrus<\/strong> (Master&#8217;s Degree in Direction alumni) and <strong>Horta<\/strong> by <strong><em>Pilar Palomero<\/em><\/strong> (screenwriting course alumni).
