{"id":42110,"date":"2018-04-20T13:13:46","date_gmt":"2018-04-20T13:13:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escac.com\/?p=42110"},"modified":"2022-11-03T16:01:43","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T16:01:43","slug":"a-new-edition-of-the-da-film-festival-full-of-escac-talent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/escac.com\/en\/noticias\/a-new-edition-of-the-da-film-festival-full-of-escac-talent\/","title":{"rendered":"A new edition of the D&#8217;A Film Festival full of ESCAC talent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new edition of the <strong>D&#8217;A Film Festival<\/strong>, to be held in Barcelona from 26 April to 6 May, is packed with ESCAC talent in all its sections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ana de d\u00eda<\/strong>, the Opera Prima by Master in Directing alumni <strong>Andrea Jaurrieta<\/strong>, will be the closing film of the event. The film has just been presented at the <strong>Malaga Festival<\/strong>, where it competed in the official section.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Talents<\/strong> section, the festival&#8217;s competitive section, <em><strong>Jean-Fran\u00e7ois i el sentit de la vida,<\/strong><\/em> directed by graduate<strong> Sergi Portabella<\/strong>, will be presented, with a team largely formed at the school. Also competing in this section is <em><strong>Trinta Lumes<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Diana Toucedo<\/strong>, which was presented at the Berlinale and comes from the Malaga Festival &#8211; Zonazine.<\/p>\n<p>Two other titles that have been shown in Malaga, <em><strong>I Hate New York<\/strong><\/em> (a documentary produced by <strong>J.A Bayona<\/strong>) and <strong><em>Matar al padre<\/em><\/strong> (a series by <strong>Mar Coll<\/strong>) will be present in the <strong>Special Sessions and Movistar+ Sessions<\/strong> sections respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Within <strong>Impulso Colectivo<\/strong>, a section dedicated to the most independent new Spanish cinema, <em><strong>Quiero lo eterno<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Miguel Angel Blanca<\/strong> and <strong><em>Trinta Lumes<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>Diana Toucedo<\/strong> will be screened. These two directors will also participate in the <strong>Meet the Directors by Moritz<\/strong> section. In the short film section, we find <strong><em>La in\u00fatil<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>Bel\u00e9n Funes<\/strong>, <strong><em>Boh\u00e8mia<\/em> <\/strong>by <strong>Anna Petrus<\/strong> (alumni of the Master&#8217;s Degree in Directing) and <strong>Horta<\/strong> by <strong><em>Pilar Palomero<\/em><\/strong> (alumni of a screenwriting course).<\/p>\n<p>Finally, in the <strong>Acci\u00f3 Viver Dones Visuals<\/strong> activity, the projects <strong><em>Las ni\u00f1as<\/em><\/strong> by Pilar Palomero and <em><strong>Puerto deseado<\/strong><\/em> by Diana Toucedo have been selected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new edition of the D&#8217;A Film Festival, to be held in Barcelona from 26 April to 6 May, is packed with ESCAC talent in all its sections.
