{"id":42133,"date":"2018-04-05T11:13:23","date_gmt":"2018-04-05T11:13:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escac.com\/?p=42133"},"modified":"2022-11-03T18:32:10","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T18:32:10","slug":"escac-talent-fills-the-malaga-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/escac.com\/en\/noticias\/escac-talent-fills-the-malaga-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"ESCAC talent fills the Malaga Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Thirteen ESCAC graduates and alumni<\/strong> will present their feature films, short films, documentaries and series at the 21st edition of the <strong>Malaga Festival<\/strong>: Juan Antonio Bayona, Mar Coll, Dani de la Orden, Sofie Escud\u00e9, B\u00e1rbara Farr\u00e9, Bel\u00e9n Funes, Liliana Torres, Josecho de Linares, Bernat Manzano, Elena Trap\u00e9, Marta D\u00edaz de Lope D\u00edaz, Andrea Jaurrieta and Diana Toucedo.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>official feature film section<\/strong>, up to four directors come from ESCAC: graduate <strong>Elena Trap\u00e9<\/strong> with Las distancias; Master&#8217;s in Directing alumni <strong>Andrea Jaurrieta<\/strong> with <strong><em>Ana de d\u00eda<\/em><\/strong>; graduate <strong>Marta D\u00edaz de Lope D\u00edaz<\/strong> with <em><strong>Mi querida cofrad\u00eda<\/strong><\/em> (a film produced by Escac Films as part of the ESCAC Opera Prima Programme); and graduate <strong>Dani de la orden<\/strong> with <strong><em>El mejor verano de mi vida<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; which will close the Malaga event. In an edition marked by the strong presence of women, it should be noted that all the directors of Spanish films in the official section come from the school.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>official short film section<\/strong> includes <strong><em>La in\u00fatil<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>Bel\u00e9n Funes<\/strong> and the Escac Films short film <strong><em>La \u00faltima virgen<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>B\u00e1rbara Farr\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>official documentary section<\/strong>, <em><strong>Hayati<\/strong><\/em>, co-directed by <strong>Liliana Torres<\/strong> and <strong>Sofi Escud\u00e9<\/strong>, and produced by <strong>Bernat Manzano<\/strong>, also a graduate, will be presented.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Desparecer<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Josecho de Linares<\/strong>, the other Escac Films film produced as part of the ESCAC Opera Prima Programme, will participate in the <strong>Zonazine section<\/strong>. In the previous edition of the festival, another of the films that came out of this programme, Blue Rai by Pedro B.
