{"id":42215,"date":"2020-01-14T11:43:48","date_gmt":"2020-01-14T11:43:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escac.com\/?p=42215"},"modified":"2022-11-07T16:13:53","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T16:13:53","slug":"tomas-pladevall-says-goodbye-to-the-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/escac.com\/en\/noticias\/tomas-pladevall-says-goodbye-to-the-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Tom\u00e0s Pladevall says goodbye to the school"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Tom\u00e0s Pladevall<\/strong>, one of the most representative and prolific <strong>directors of photography<\/strong> in Catalan and Spanish cinema, yesterday gave his last class at the school.<\/p>\n<p>A teacher at ESCAC since the beginning, and one of the most beloved by the whole community, he said an emotional farewell to his last students of the <strong>Master in Photography Direction<\/strong>, accompanied by the director of the school <strong>Sergi Casamitjana<\/strong>, the coordinator of the Master <strong>Jordi Bransuela<\/strong> and the head of resources of ESCAC <strong>David Planagum\u00e0<\/strong>, both graduates of the first promotion, as well as much of the teaching staff and staff of the school.<\/p>\n<p>His work alongside directors such as Francesc Bellmunt, Gonzalo Herralde, Jaime Camino, Jos\u00e9 Maria Nunes, Bigas Luna, Carlos Benpar, Ventura Pons, Pere Portabella, Rosa Verg\u00e9s, Manuel Huerga and Jos\u00e9 Luis Ger\u00edn earned him the <strong>Premi Sant Jordi de Cinematografia<\/strong> in 1999.
