The alumni and director of the Master’s in Documentary, F\u00e8lix Colomer,<\/strong> premieres his new documentary series ‘Les vides del F\u00e8lix’<\/strong> at the tenth edition of the Serializados Fest,<\/strong> the largest international series festival, taking place in Barcelona between October 17 and 29, 2023.<\/p>\n

The premiere of the series took place at the CCCB in the Catalan capital and was attended by the director and several team members.<\/p>\n

Les vides del F\u00e8lix<\/strong><\/p>\n

‘Les vides del F\u00e8lix’<\/strong> reconstructs, throughout its seven episodes, the different stages of his life and the lessons derived from them<\/strong>. At the age of 29, F\u00e8lix has been a documentary filmmaker, a director of porn films, a trap singer, an activist, a radical vegan, a chess player, and, above all, the narrator of his own life.<\/p>\n

This documentary series is a narrative that functions almost like a letter to his son, in which F\u00e8lix, in first person, narrates and showcases his various obsessions, professions, and hobbies.<\/p>\n

‘Les vides de F\u00e8lix’ is a production by Minoria Absoluta for HBO Max<\/strong> and will be premiering on the platform soon.<\/p>\n

F\u00e8lix Colomer<\/strong><\/p>\n

F\u00e8lix Colomer Vall\u00e8s (Sabadell, November 11, 1993) is a Catalan filmmaker and playwright. In 2016, he graduated from the Superior School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia (ESCAC). The final project of his career, the documentary ‘Sasha’<\/strong> was successfully screened at festivals like FICG in Guadalajara (Mexico), Sole-Luna in Palermo and Milan (Italy), the Spanish Film Festival (Australia), and DOCS Barcelona, among others.<\/p>\n

In October 2017, he premiered his second documentary, ‘Shootball’<\/strong>, in the Official Section of the Seminci Festival in Valladolid. It is a raw report on the pedophilia scandal at the Marists school, featuring open statements from the victims, students of the school, and the pedophile who abused them.<\/p>\n

On February 7, 2021, HBO premiered ‘Vitals’,<\/strong> a docu-series about the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, filmed at Taul\u00ed Hospital in Sabadell.<\/p>\n

In April 2022, TV3 aired his documentary ‘Fugir’,<\/strong> produced by El Terrat, as part of the Sense Ficci\u00f3 tv show. Due to the war in Ukraine, the same Sasha who was the subject of his first documentary, now eight years older and accompanied by six siblings, fled his home on a bus to Catalonia. He had to leave behind his hometown, Nikopol, his mother, and his younger sister. This documentary won the Civism Award of the Generalitat in 2022<\/strong> in the Media category.<\/p>\n
