A. Bayona<\/strong>, a graduate, is a member of the jury of the Official <strong>Selection of the Cannes Film Festival<\/strong>, to be held from May 14 to 25 in the French city.<\/p>\n<p>The jury is chaired by <strong>Greta Gerwig<\/strong>, acclaimed actress and director of films such as &#8216;Frances Ha&#8217;, &#8216;Little Women&#8217; and the recent &#8216;Barbie&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <strong>ESCAC talent<\/strong> will be present in the industry sections of the festival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>March\u00e9 du Film<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ESCAC talent<\/strong> will be present at the <strong>March\u00e9 du Film<\/strong>, the industry section of the <strong>Cannes Film Festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>List of <strong>market screenings<\/strong> with ESCAC talent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Casa en flames&#8217;<\/strong> dir. Dani de la Orden<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Alumbramiento&#8217;<\/strong> dir. Pau Teixidor<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Free falling&#8217;<\/strong> dir. Laura Jou Producida by JA Bayona<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Mam\u00edfera&#8217;<\/strong> dir. Liliana Torres<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Nina&#8217;<\/strong> dir. Andrea Jaurrieta<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As every year, <strong>ESCAC talented<\/strong> short films will also be protagonists in the <strong>Short Film Corner<\/strong>, a space of the market that has become a meeting point for the short film industry.<\/p>\n<p>The titles that are part of the selection are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Cantar\u00e0 l&#8217;alosa&#8217;<\/strong>, by Xavier Montoriol. Produced by Carolina Kuzeluk and El\u00edas Querejeta Zine Eskola.<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Cura sana&#8217;<\/strong>, by Luc\u00eda G Romero. Produced by ESCAC Films<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Els buits&#8217;<\/strong>, by Sofia Esteve, Marina Freixa Roca, Isa Luengo. Produced by Nocturna Films and Vayolet Films.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The feature film &#8216;<strong>No matar\u00e0s<\/strong>&#8216; (Filmax) by <strong>David Victori<\/strong> will be part of the <strong>Cannes Remakes<\/strong> selection, a new initiative of the <strong>March\u00e9 du Film<\/strong> that seeks to encourage the exhibition of intellectual properties that have generated their own success in their original territories and facilitates connections between buyers and international producers.<\/p>\n<p>It will also be part of the <strong>Critics&#8217; Week:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Las novias del sur&#8217;, directed by Elena L\u00f3pez Riera, and with ESCAC talent:<br \/>\n-Setting: Anna Pfaff, Ariadna Ribas<br \/>\n-Director of photography: Agn\u00e8s Piqu\u00e9<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Congratulations to all of you and good luck!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we anticipated a few days ago, J.
