The 36th edition of the Goya Awards gala of the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences took place this Saturday. Of the 10 graduates who were nominated, three were the winners.
Laura Pedro won her second Goya for Best Special Effects for WAY DOWN. She won her first two years ago for Superlópez.
Oriol Tarragó won his fifth Goya for Best Sound for TRES, shared with fellow graduate Marc Bech, who won the first of many, we’re sure!
To date, our graduates have won more than 50 nominations in the technical categories and 25 Goya Awards, with three in the new director category (J.A. Bayona in 2008, Mar Coll in 2010, Kike Maíllo in 2012 and Belén Funes in 2020).
