A basic introduction to audiovisual narrative

Summer School provides a basic introduction to audiovisual narrative through a recreational project-based course.

Daily individual and group classes in Narrative Practices in which students write, shoot and edit their work. Development and complete production of a group short lm project.

Students are also offered the chance to complement the course with screenings and open class sessions in different specialities.

Two options are available: Beginner’s and Advanced Course.

Who it is
aimed at

12 to 17 year-olds who are curious about or interested in audiovisuals and who wish to experiment with their potential.

Summer School Options

Beginner’s Course

Aimed at students interested in the basics of Audiovisual Narrative.

Advanced Course

Aimed at students who have already spent two weeks on the Beginner’s Course and wish to extend their knowledge.

*This year you can also take a course while practicing your English.

Summer School

Dates: 25 June to 19 July 2019. They are run on a weekly or fortnightly basis depending on the course chosen.


10 am to 2 pm. Audiovisual Narrative Practices in English.
15 pm to 8 pm. Optional and complementary open class sessions on speciality areas and screenings.


Beginner: 1 week – €180
Beginner: 2 weeks – €300
Advanced: 2 weeks – €360 *Access to the Advanced Course previously requires 2 weeks on the Beginner’s Course.
Beginner + Advanced: 4 weeks – €560
