Graduate David Casademunt will participate in the 15th edition of the TIFF Filmmaker Lab at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival.
Director of the Escac Films-produced short film Jingle Bells (selected at the San Sebastian Film Festival) and the documentary Rumba tres, de ida y vuelta (Best National Documentary at In-Edit), David Casademunt has been selected with La Bèstia, his feature-length horror project produced by Fitzcarraldo Films and Tàndem Entertainment.
The TIFF Filmmaker Lab brings together some of the world’s most promising filmmaking talent during the Toronto International Film Festival in September. For five days, the 22 participants selected for this year’s edition (10 Canadians and 12 from the rest of the world) will participate in workshops and master classes with internationally renowned filmmakers and will receive advice on how to continue working on their projects.
