The Final Degree Project AVES DE CORRAL, directed by Iris Irish and produced by Escac Films, is going to the Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the ICAA Cinema catalogue ‘Just Spainted. New Spanish Shorts’ 2cool4school.

This year, the Short Film Corner will once again host the ‘2cool4school Collection’, a programme of 9 short films from different Spanish film schools, made exclusively by students from the schools, which aims to showcase the youngest talent in our country. This promotion and dissemination programme is promoted by the Ministry of Culture and the ICAA.

The Final Degree Projects (TFG) are the short films with which ESCAC students graduate. They are produced by Escac Films and with a technical team trained entirely at ESCAC.

Synopsis

Rebeca lives isolated with her parents on a chicken farm. She loves animals but can no longer cope with the situation at home: her emotionally and psychologically unstable mother suffers outbreaks in which she is unable to control her aggression. On the day she decides to escape, Rebeca realises that she no longer needs her father to leave and that, in reality, he never had any intention of letting her go.
