Next Wednesday 22nd June at 4pm in the afternoon the prestigious film critics Cristina Álvarez López & Adrian Martin will come to ESCAC to give the master class The audiovisual essay: paths, forms, possibilities. within the framework of the Master’s Degree in Film Studies and Visual Cultures.

In this talk we will reflect on the critical, analytical and creative potential of the audiovisual essay; we will also trace our personal journey through the formats (writing, television, radio, audio commentary, teaching) that have led us to this practice. Finally, we will discuss some of the pieces we have made together since we began collaborating in 2012.
