ESCAC shines at Karlovy Vary with the short film Dissection of an Incoherence in Crisis

Three girls caught in a trivial and absurd argument about how to make a paper airplane. Three adults engaged in a sophisticated and intellectual debate about the details of a historical event. Two seemingly distant conflicts, yet both share the same root: the inability to manage envy and ego – between Aran, the youngest daughter, and Artur, her father.

This is the intriguing starting point of Dissection of an Incoherence in Crisis, a short film directed by Nausica Serra and produced by ESCAC Films, which had its world premiere at the Future Frames: Generation NEXT of European Cinema section at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF).

From ESCAC, we want to warmly congratulate Nausica and the entire team for this major achievement, which reaffirms our school’s commitment to excellence, creativity, and supporting the next generation of filmmakers.
