Within the framework of the Malaga Film Festival and thanks to an agreement between Cinebase and the Junta de Andalucía, through its Aula de Cine programme, the presentation of the Audiovisual Narrative Workshops for teachers will take place on 14th March.
The ESCAC, through its Cinebase programme, and the Junta de Andalucía are developing, for the first time in twenty secondary schools in all Andalusian provinces, audiovisual narrative workshops taught by ESCAC teachers. The workshops have been running since January and throughout the month of March in different centres in Andalusia, and will end with the production of a short film supervised by an ESCAC teacher.
The workshops will take place in the following centres: IES Miguel de Mañara in San José de la Rinconada (Seville), IES Sácilis in Pedro Abad (Córdoba) IES Prof. J.A. Carillo Salcedo in Morón de la Frontera (Seville), IES Antonio Gala in Palma de Río (Cordoba), IES Pablo de Olavide in La Luisiana (Seville), IES López Neyra in Cordoba, IES Alhama in Alhama de Granada (Granada), IES Juan Ramón Jiménez in Moguer (Huelva), IES Odiel in Gibraleón (Huelva), IES Beatriz Galindo “La Latina” in Motril (Granada), IES Jándula in Andújar (Jaén), IES Franciso Montoya in Las Norias de Daza (Almería), IES Sierra Mágina in Huelma (Jaén), IES Jaroso in Cuevas de Almanzora (Almería), IES La Mojonera in La Mojonera (Almería), IES Playamar in Torremolinos (Málaga), IES Mar de Alborán in Estepona (Málaga), IES Salmedina in Chipiona (Cádiz), IES Jarifa in Cártama (Málaga) and IES Vega de Mijas in Mijas (Málaga).
In addition, within the framework of the Malaga Film Festival, several workshops will be held for secondary school groups at IES Vicente Espinel (Malaga).
Cinebase is a programme that aims to implement Audiovisual Narrative as a basic, essential and commonly used skill in Secondary Education for all students in our country.
