The Master in Film Directing provides students with the knowledge and techniques necessary to direct fiction audiovisual works.
It is a specialized program in which students will learn about and carry out the director’s role in the processes of preparation, shooting, and post-production through practical exercises and the creation of their own short films.
This line of work is complemented by masterclasses and seminars delivered by professionals from the industry.

We want students to learn through practice, guided by some of the best professionals in the industry, who train them through transversal competencies, providing the knowledge and tools needed to develop a future professional career in any field of content creation.
In the case of this master’s program, students will gain practical experience and integrate conceptual and technical knowledge of film directing.
The subjects in this master’s program are divided into four main groups:
Project: A set of sessions aimed at pre-producing, producing, and completing the main projects of the master’s program.
Specific seminars: A series of mainly theoretical classes that, guided by industry professionals, delve into specific thematic knowledge related to the discipline of the master’s program.
Workshop: A set of practical classes with a specific production objective, where students apply the theoretical and technical knowledge acquired in other subjects.
Masterclasses: One- or two-day sessions in which students engage in dialogue with a renowned professional related to the objectives of the master’s program, learning from their experience.
University graduates with degrees related to the audiovisual field and practical experience in the development and shooting of audiovisual projects.
Students with a Higher Vocational Training qualification in Audiovisual Project and Show Production (or equivalent).
Professionals with proven experience in the audiovisual sector who wish to go beyond their current discipline.
Professionals from the film or audiovisual industry who want to deepen their knowledge of film directing.
