Please be advised that the personal data you provide on this form to the Fundació Privada Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (hereinafter known as ESCAC), and that provided during your contractual relationship as a student or former student will be entered into a computerised data file and will be used by the ESCAC, directly or through collaborating entities, to appropriately manage, prepare and monitor the course, including managing the issuance of certificates and work experience in companies, where applicable, and the managing of the necessary payments and receipts for the ESCAC, along with all issues arising from your status as a student or former student. Your data will also be used to send you information on ESCAC services that may be of interest to you. This information will be sent virtually to your contact details, including e-mails and text messages, in compliance with current regulations regarding virtual communications. Pursuant to the Spanish Data Protection Law 15/1999 (LOPD) and implementing Regulation 1720/2007, we hereby inform you that the ESCAC, a private foundation with registered offices at Plaça de la Farinera nº 9, 08222 Terrassa (Barcelona), is the final recipient of this data and decides on the purpose, contents and use involved in processing the personal data you provide. The Fundació Privada Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (hereinafter known as ESCAC) hereby declares that it respects and complies with the provisions of the Spanish Data Protection Law 15/1999 (hereinafter known as LOPD) and that it fulfils the legal provisions set forth in Royal Decree 1720/2007 regarding the security measures for automated files containing personal data, and has established all the technical resources available to avoid the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and undue appropriation of the data with which the ESCAC is provided, regardless of the fact that the internet security measures are not invulnerable. The ESCAC is therefore informing you of its data protection policy so that you may personally and voluntarily decide whether you wish to provide the ESCAC with your personal data.
The ESCAC also indicates that the personal data you provide on a form will be included in an automated personal data file held by the ESCAC, which will remain under the responsibility of the entity. In order to comply with the LOPD, we hereby inform you that the ESCAC, with registered offices at Plaça de la Farinera nº 9, 08222 Terrassa (Barcelona), will decide on the purpose, contents and use involved in processing the personal data you provide via any of the forms included on the website www.escac.com
Your unequivocal consent is required to include your data in the ESCAC file, which may be given by way of accepting this privacy policy, selecting the option “I ACCEPT THE LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS” indicated before each data request form.
The data provided to the ESCAC may be used by the ESCAC to implement any of the activities involved in its business, and for promotional activities for its products or services. This data may be assigned to other companies, entities or bodies in Spain, and to third-party individuals or entities, for the same purposes set forth herein. Your unequivocal consent is also required to communicate your data to third parties, which may be given by way of accepting this Privacy Policy, selecting the option “I ACCEPT THE LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS” indicated before each data request form.
In relation to the communication of data, please be reminded that the ESCAC is an entity dealing in training and specialises in postgraduate and master’s degree courses and training seminars. Therefore, where you give your informed consent for the processing of your data, the ESCAC will consider this your unequivocal consent for your data to be transferred internationally to companies, entities or bodies located abroad, despite their being located in countries that offer no adequate personal data protection in line with Spanish law, and to other entities to which the data must be provided in order to provide a service. The use of the data transferred internationally will be limited to the purposes set forth in this document.
Except for the fields in which it is determined otherwise, answering questions on personal data is voluntary and failure to answer these questions does not lead to any decrease in the quality of the services requested.
You are entitled to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection in relation to your personal data included in the ESCAC files, if requested as such using any means that provides proof of delivery and of receipt.
