The Cine Base Short Film Festival was attended by the film director and ESCAC graduate, Carlos Alonso, who presented the award for the special category of POLICE THRILLER to Aleix Matas for his short film Awaken, which won an iPad.
Aintza Serra, director of Cine Base, awarded the Foundation Scholarship to Talent to the winners Mar Armenteros and Gala Martínez for the short film Favoritenson & Preferitenson, with which they will be able to study for a whole year at ESCAC’s undergraduate programme completely free of charge.
There was also a Special Mention Cinedfest Canarias to ShiJie Weng, for her short film “My dream, to study cinema”, who received a Summer School Prime Scholarship, with the residence expenses in Terrassa covered by ESCAC.
Thanks to the organisation of the Festival, which was in charge of ESCAC students together with the Cine Base team, to the presenters Manel Fajardo and Isabel Ferrando, to the actors Margarita Nika Artyukhina and Raúl Baell and thanks to the collaborators of this edition ESCAC, Filmin, Universal Production Music, BCN Film Festival.
