The ESCAC Stunt Academy is a stunt school created through a partnership between ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) and In Extremis Film Services, one of the leading companies in Spain specialising in stunt coordination and special effects for film, television, and advertising. This programme has been designed to train the next generation of stunt professionals for the audiovisual industry, combining physical training, acting, stunt techniques, and applied cinematic education focused on action.
Students are trained by active industry professionals, working in facilities specifically designed for action scene development and following safety protocols used in professional productions. Throughout the programme, students participate in filming practices and audiovisual projects, collaborating with students from other ESCAC departments and building material for their professional showreel.
The ESCAC Action Academy is the result of the partnership between In Extremis Film Services, a leading company in special effects and stunt coordination, and ESCAC.
With more than 15 years of experience producing and coordinating high-level action sequences and special effects nationally and internationally, In Extremis Film Services has joined ESCAC to create the ESCAC Action Academy.
With this stunt academy, ESCAC expands into the world of action cinema training.
La ESCAC Action Academy es el resultado de la unión entre In Extremis Film Services, la empresa líder del sector en efectos especiales y especialistas de cine, y la ESCAC.
Con más de 15 años de experiencia produciendo y coordinando las mejores escenas de acción y efectos especiales, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, In Extremis Film Services crea junto a la ESCAC la ESCAC Action Academy.
Con esta academia de especialistas de acción, la ESCAC se adentra en el apasionante mundo de la acción para el cine.
The training takes place at In Extremis Club Academy, a specialised stunt training centre with facilities designed for the safe practice of action scenes. Students have access to specialised training spaces, technical equipment for action sequences, audiovisual recording systems, and editing resources for project development.
Throughout the programme, students take part in filming practices and audiovisual projects, gaining real-world experience within professional productions. At the end of the programme, students may take the entry examination for the stunt agency, allowing them to apply for professional opportunities within the audiovisual industry.

The ESCAC Action Academy Scholarship aims to support young people with skills in action performance and stunts, offering specialised training at the academy. This scholarship covers only the tuition fee of the Stunt Master programme.
This scholarship is aimed at young people with physical and athletic abilities who are passionate about action cinema and wish to become stunt performers.
