Asecan Awards
The Association of Cinematographic Writers and Critics of Andalusia, ASECAN, brings together a significant part of the writers, screenwriters, and film critics working in our community.
Since its creation on September 15, 1982, it has aimed to fulfill its main purposes, as stated in its statutes: contribute to the dissemination and reflection on audiovisual art in general and that produced in Andalusia in particular, as well as promote audiovisual culture and the various forms that link it to writing. It is the first association of film writers that emerged in Spain (followed by those of Catalonia and the Madrid Circle).
Currently, ASECAN has more than fifty members.
Congratulations, team!
