Throughout the program, students from the Cinematography and Directing courses will collaborate on two key projects:

  • Music Video
  • Short Film (Final Project)

Who is it for?

This course is aimed at university students aged 18 and over, from any academic background, who are interested in exploring and expanding their practical skills in film directing.

  • Learn the fundamentals of working with actors

Course Structure

The program is divided into three main blocks:

Audiovisual Narrative Practice

Practical sessions focused on the fundamentals of fiction storytelling, following the classical three-act narrative structure.

Students will complete fully developed narrative exercises, including shooting and post-production, both individually and in small groups. These exercises will cover all stages of the filmmaking process – from script development to filming and editing.

Specialization Workshops

Hands-on classes introducing the narrative role of different audiovisual disciplines and how they support the director’s vision:

  • Screenwriting
  • Cinematography & Camera
  • Editing & Sound
  • Art Direction
  • Directing Actors

Projects

Students will collaboratively produce two complete short-format audiovisual projects.

These projects are based on previously developed concepts and are designed to apply the narrative techniques learned throughout the course.
