Presentation

The Postgraduate in Line Producing offers the theoretical and technical knowledge of film production, training students to successfully manage the production management of a feature film or TV series, from the conception of the script to the standard copy.

The student will learn the methods and techniques of production processes during the preparation, shooting and post-production of any other audiovisual work.

Objectives and Skills

At the end of this postgraduate course, students will be able to:

  • Carry out the production management of a feature film or any other audiovisual work.
  • Know the methods and techniques of the production processes during the pre-production, shooting and post-production of a feature film or any other audiovisual work, and be able to carry them out.
  • Plan the schedule for a given audiovisual production taking into account the different processes involved in the creation of an audiovisual work.
  • Foresee the needs and resources required to carry out a specific audiovisual production by means of the production design and the working documents derived from it.
  • Master the techniques and mechanisms of production management throughout the process of ideation, development and exploitation of an audiovisual project.
  • Properly manage the filming process of the audiovisual work, correctly applying the previously worked production design.
  • Manage and coordinate the processes linked to the post-production of the audiovisual work, showing knowledge of the different areas, processes and techniques, as well as their correct development.

Target Audience

Graduates in Business Administration and Management, Advertising and Public Relations, Law, Audiovisual Communication or other university degrees related to the audiovisual field.

Students from film schools or artistic disciplines.

Students with a Higher Degree in audiovisual projects and shows or equivalent.

Professionals with proven experience in the audiovisual sector who want to switch or update their discipline.

Professionals in the film sector who want to delve deeper into the field of production.

The Postgraduate in Line Producing is part of the Production itinerary. If you also take the Postgraduate in Film Business, you will obtain the Master’s Degree in Production, with 60 credits.
