Escac Films manages and coordinates the Final Degree Projects (TFG), Specialization Final Master’s Projects (TFM), and Master’s in Directing projects at all stages, from development to exploitation and promotion, with the aim of professionalizing the working methodology of academic productions.

The challenge for Escac Films is to establish the foundations and strengthen a type of production that enables the promotion and integration of young talents trained at ESCAC into the film and audiovisual industry, highlighting their excellence and capacity for innovation.

To give visibility to these productions, Escac Films carries out their presentation and promotion at national and international festivals. Additionally, it provides support to students in all aspects related to distribution and exploitation.

With a track record of over 500 awards, in recent years, ESCAC has stood out with, among others, a Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Film, two Gaudí Awards, three Silver Biznagas from the Málaga Film Festival, the Best International Short Film Award from the Sundance Festival, the third prize in the Cinefoundation, and the Queer Palm from the Cannes Film Festival.
