The Postgraduate Course in Film Directing is designed to provide the fundamental knowledge and techniques for directing fictional audiovisual works, and to broaden students’ experience in the field of filming.
Students will also gain an overall knowledge of the tasks of the other members of a basic audiovisual production team – assistant director, director of photography, art director, editor and sound designer – through continuous practice in audiovisual storytelling exercises.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
University graduates in Audiovisual Communication, Fine Arts or other university-level qualifications related to the audiovisual field without experience in the field of professional filming.
Students from film schools or artistic disciplines.
Students with a Higher Degree in audiovisual project and show production or equivalent.
Professionals with accredited experience in the audiovisual sector who wish to switch or update their discipline.
Professionals in the film or videographic sector who want to deepen their knowledge of the creation and exploitation of audiovisual products.
