The new ESCAC generation, available on Filmin

The latest ESCAC final year short films, recognised at the most prestigious festivals, are coming to Filmin.

From this December, you can enjoy the “ESCAC Generation” section on Filmin, which includes, among others, the five short films produced by ESCAC FILMS that are candidates for the Gaudí Awards 2020: Adaladamadrina, Ama, Benidorm 2017, No me despertéis and Tahrib.

Ama has participated in festivals such as Mecal, where it won the Best Short Film Award, Tel Aviv Student Film Festival or Alcine, among others. Adaladamadrina participated in the official section of the prestigious Sundance Film Festival and in the D‘ A Film Festival. Benidorm 2017 won the Silver Biznaga Award for Best Short Film and the Best Actress Award at the last edition of the Malaga Film Festival. For its part, No me despertéis participated in the official section of the Seminci, in the Rotterdam Festival and in the Alcalá de Henares Film Festival, where it won the Second Prize. And finally Tahrib, which has participated in 100 national and international festivals, and has been awarded more than 30 prizes.

All these shorts will be available on the Filmin platform until December 2020. It is also the case that during this 2019, the second most watched short film on Filmin has been “La última virgen” by the graduate Bàrbara Farré, which won last year the Gaudí Award for Best Short Film.

In addition to these short films, on Filmin you can enjoy La Filla d’algú, a collective feature film by the 20th ESCAC graduating class, which won the Movistar + Award for Best Film and the Silver Biznaga for Best Actress for Aina Clotet at the last edition of the Malaga Film Festival.
